A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Checkerboard

February isn’t very far away… Ground Hog Day Festivities in Wiarton are going to be bigger and better than ever before.
George Arthur Burnside is producing a live variety show which will be the Wake Up Willie Kickoff Event for the newly improved and expanded Wiarton Willie Festival. The show is on Monday February 01, 2010, 8:00 p.m. at Peninsula Shores District School in Wiarton.
The cast of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Checkerboard includes Sharon and George, Suzanne Beaudry, Bill Dickson and Max Clark (musical director) – we’re in rehearsals now.
There is limited seating for this one show only performance… so get your tickets early!!
Tickets are $15. each and can be bought in advance at Northern Confections in Wiarton, Macbeths Cafe & Bakery in Sauble Beach and Stedmans in Tobermory.
